I assume you've modified the MDF to achieve that. It's not
a route I want to go down because modifying MDFs isn't part
of my (limited) skill set.

I've just tried that and it seems to work. However, if I
leave full-screen and then re-invoke it, I get the same
problem which you describe in the first quoted paragraph
above.
