It was on my old errant 5.20.

Like Select RO is started the boot sequence on 5.19 then the Softload
started (Y/N) and continues after that to 5.20

I followed Steve's instructions step by step.

And towards the end of the process he writes...

* add the RISC OS 5.20 softload.

Which is exactly what I did.
