Sorry, what I didn't make clear is that I don't use the network functions from the Emu. Too much trouble.

What I do is use the HostFS disk. This disk is shared by the host machine (in my case a Mac). My RiscPC can access the shared disk from the host with ftp of samba. This way the RiscPC can read/write files on the hostfs part of the disc.

The emu also read/writes to the hostfs so although the emu doesn't use any network functions, it can still share it disc with other acorn machines.
