I've also asked on the TW group. However, as yet, I'm far from clear if
this is a TW problem, or a quirk caused by something like rpcemu or hostfs,
or plain old user-error. ;->
FWIW some time ago with an earlier version of rpcemu I found that ArtWorks
would not run and function properly from hostfs. But worked fine from the
hd4 adfs 'drive'. So I am wondering if this is similar in being rooted in
how the application handles file loading, etc, and that hostfs isn't acting
as it expects. It may be relevant that both AW and TW have a long history
and were developed in their own ways by people who no longer are involved.
As it stands it isn't a serious problem as I can simply transfer files with
images or large bitmaps as seperate files. Most publishers will want to
furtle around with illustrations anyway! :-) (And of course most won't
recognise a TW file, either.) But it is a puzzle that it would be nice to
resolve.
