git format-patch and git send-email work in concert to actually send a
reviewable thread of multiple emails if configured properly.
I'd like to see your patch series presented properly as a thread with a cover
letter explaining what the series achieves, where to get it from, where it is
meant to go (see my reply to Rupinder earlier today) and each patch as a
separate email.
I'm sure ten minutes with the two manpages will let you work out how to do it
:-)
For reference, you can even get it to produce multi-series threads if you try
hard enough -- cf. the thread starting at

for another project I am involved with.
