While it's by no means a complete list, and is restricted to only one of
the many platforms NetSurf works on, this should give you an idea:

NetSurf is designed to be portable to as many systems as possible,
including a lot of niche, obsolete, slow and/or resource-limited ones.
I strongly suspect that many or all of the off-the-shelf libraries you
are recommending are not.
