I would say so. There are a couple of outstanding bugs, eg,
bug#254 which need looking at, but such a complex program is never
going to be completely bug free. All we can do is try to fix any
reported bugs and continue to release updated versions.

I think everything else (libgcc, libm, etc) is as it was in 4.1.2.

The only way we'll know for sure how stable it is, is if
people use it, so we may as well make it more generally
available. Personally, I always use the 4.7.4 cross compiler,
and I can't say I've found any show stoppers.
Obviously, 4.1.2 should remain available too for those
who want it.
