Hi,
I've just installed 5295 and that is working again.

I tried 5289 and that works.
I gather 5290 crashes but I will try it anyway.

[Rpcemu] Keycodes not working
I have noticed that some Keycodes are not Working in RPCEmu, e.g.
Ctrl+F12 to open the Task Window or Right Alt. Interestingly
Strg+Shift+F12 for Break works fine.
On my Raspi setup with Rool all of them works also.
Greetings
Lioh
Re: [Rpcemu] Bridge setup
I have managed to set it up using NetworkManager cli.
First I had to remove the original configuration for my ethernet
interface (eth0 in my case) and then add the bridge plus the secondary
like this:
nmcli connection add type bridge bridge.stp no autoconnect yes con-name
rpcemu ifname rpcemu ipv4.method auto ipv4.method auto
nmcli connection add type bridge-slave master rpcemu autoconnect yes
ifname eth0 con-name rpcemu-secondary
Depending on the setup, eth0 has to be replaced with the name of the
ethernet interface.

If this is like a normal Linux Ethernet bridge, you need to add your
local Ethernet interface (e.g. eth0) and the RPCEmu tap0 device to the
bridge.
Unfortunately I don't know off hand how to do this with 'ip', I've
always used 'brctl' for this.

[Rpcemu] Bridge setup
I am trying to setup RPCEmu using an ethernet Bridge device. Within the
configuration of RPCEmu, the bridge is called 'rpcemu' which I have
created like this
ip link add rpcemu type bridge
The application starts fine and creates a tap0 device, but I am not able
to obtain an IP address via DHCP in RISC OS.
Do you have any idea what I am missing?

When clicking on 'Submit issue', and error page says that it failed to
open/read local data from file/application. Clicking on Back wipes all of
the entered text. By the way, Product Version lets you only choose between
3.9. and 3.10, while the current version is 3.11.
I'd love to attacht the Log file to this mail, but as it is 7+ MByte, I
fear that people might get angry.

The latest build (#5290 - 2021-05-17) crashes on my system (4té - RISC OS
5.29) as soon as I open a page. It's very repeatable and I had to
re-install #5289 in order to get to Google again.

You can do this by commenting out line 1346 in the "src/qt5/main_window.cpp" file, which reads:
setWindowTitle(window_title);
Add a double slash at the start, so it now looks like this:
// setWindowTitle(window_title);
Save the file and run "make" again to compile.

be already present.

Thanks for the link. I can't immediately say whether or not
it's useful to me because I haven't had time to digest it.
Bearing in mind my limited Linux skills, when I have
digested it, it might still be beyond me.
I'm still confused as to why there is a problem because (as
I said in my original post) I've successfully installed it
on 3 different platforms - all with the same version of
Mint.
Ideally, I'd like to completely uninstall what is already
there and start again from the beginning.

Thanks for the hint. I have tried this:
make CFLAGS='-fcommon' LDFLAGS='-fcommon'
without success. I have also tried to define them directly in the
Makefile like:
export CFLAGS = -fcommon
export LDFLAGS = -fcommon
With the same result. Could you please point out the correct way to

I actually misread and missed the "not" there…
Maybe we could instead download commit/tag archives from github?
François.

Atari toolchain update (mintlib) ?
someone asked me about the Atari port yesterday on Mastodon:
https://mastodon.social/@zwangseinweisung/106162348193648981
It seemed Vincent Rivière updated mintlib and removed the previous archive.
http://vincent.riviere.free.fr/soft/m68k-atari-mint/
He was notified and will restore it for now, but it'd be nice to check
and update our toolchain soon.
I might have a look at it this month but please beat me at it :-)
François.

Re: [gccsdk] Building gdb for remote debugging of RISC OS
Currently I'm stuck at the first step which I believe is getting the correct –host and –target options that configure will accept.
Cfr. gdbserver/README : just --target=arm-elf
John.
[gccsdk] Building gdb for remote debugging of RISC OS
Does anyone know the arcane magic needed to build gdb 4.7 on a ubuntu system for remote debugging of a RISC OS elf program?
I think I last tried this with an earlier release of the GCCSDK, so I know the RISC OS GDBServer isn't quite up to it, but I'd like to see how close it is.
Currently I'm stuck at the first step which I believe is getting the correct –host and –target options that configure will accept.
Thanks,
Alan
