I recently managed to successfully edit a 1680 x 1050 mode to 1824 x
1026. The key things to change (assuming the above MDF was to be
altered to 1280 x 860, for example) are:
the mode_name [TO mode_name:1280 x 860 (60Hz)];
the y_res [TO y_res:860];
the v_timings line [TO v_timings:2,32,0,860,0,10].
Everything else can stay the same. I also made sure my homegrown mode
conformed to a 16:9 ratio but as Tony's existing mode doesn't conform
this probably isn't crucial. HTH,
George
