I never knew Shift-Adjust-click did this trick till Tony Moore
enlightened us here. And then, of course, I see that interactive Help
has been enlightening us all the time -- methinks I'll leave it
switched on now and then, even on familiar apps, to see what further
enlightenment I gain.
To export the url of the page you are ON (i.e., the addressbar, as
opposed to a link IN THE BODY of the page) simply drag* it to a
textfile. Or Shift-drag it to a directory, where it appears with the
filetype URL. Easier than using the menu "Page > Save location >
...".
(*Some versions of the OS allow ordinary drag to select parts of a
writable field such as the addressbar. In that case, use Ctrl-drag.
Those versions probably also support Ctrl-A Ctrl-C to copy the
contents of the addressbar to the clipboard.)
Netsurf's interactive help doesn't mention these actions.
