Understood. But neither of these points prevent the inclusion of the
simple textfile I suggest. The build system could surely handle this
too -- it's a very small thing. The textfile only needs to say
something like: "Merge the !Boot and !System provided herewith if you
haven't done so since 2009-05-24." Or even just: "Latest updates:
!Boot 2009-07-25, !System 2012-01-01"

I'm making up these dates for the sake of example. The point is that
we loyal users out here, who try to do these things properly and keep
up with the test builds to do our bit to help you with the much
appreciated Netsurf project, do not know the real dates.
