I suspect that Win7 is the same as WinXP. Win7 f1 Help draws a blank on
'virtual ethernet adaptor', and a Google search for 'windows 7 virtual
ethernet adaptor' finds plenty of instructions as to how to install one.

Here, I installed the TAP driver on a Win7 32bit machine, and it works.
