My fault, it was because I thought the create-gccsdk would get called by
make ro-native.
Everything is fine now that I've run create-gccsdk as the last step in the
process.
I didn't get a zipped package and I dont have NFS, but found Sparkfs tar
converts all the filetypes from a tar cf archive.
I see I could leave the .la files in from the create-gcc script.
I'm looking at porting libtool, and noticed there is an option for using
dlopen , dlopen with help, or without dlopen.
Any suggestions on a suitable approach, or should they all work?
The other thing would be if SharedLibs$Path is builtin to unixlib, or
do I get it from the environment manually?
It looks like I'd have to monitor LD_LIBRARY_PATH in case that alternative
was used. Perhaps libtool only needs to work on a local build directory,
and the installation could be a separate manual step?
Thanks, and sorry about the false report.

That seems to be a different problem. What version(s) of
automake/autoconf/aclocal do you have installed?
Forgot to ask: Michael, what OS/distro are you building GCCSDK with?
For reference, I think ci.riscos.info is currently building with Ubuntu
14.04.

Can you put the full log somewhere?
(pastebin or equivalent will do)
Jenkins did recently successfully build GCCSDK:
http://ci.riscos.info/job/gcc-4.7-cross/213/console
so I suspect it's something in your setup.

[gccsdk] gccsdk gcc4 fails to build
I want to port UAE (uae4arm or amiberry) to riscos.. As they are SDL
based I thought it might be a good idea to use gccsdk.
But , gcc fails to build.

GCCSDK_UNPACKED is defined at around line 307. The references in lines
above this are within functions which are only called after the
definition. At a glance, it looks correct. What problem are you seeing?

[gccsdk] create-gcckit missing GCCSDK_UNPACKED def
version is missing the line ~64
GCCSDK_UNPACKED=$GCCSDK_RELEASE_AREA/full
The build I did resembles the related script lines not working.
and I am rebuilding ro-native with it back in, (as I write this)
It appears the changes to the create-gccsdk script were done a long time
ago, It is also that long since I have built ro-native .

P.S. Being curious, I have just been reading about the search parameter
'daterange' and the example given by Google is if you want to examine
documents with a modification date in a range you would search for
parrot daterange:2008-08-01..2008-12-24
ie.
http://google.com/search?q=parrot+daterange:2008-08-01..2008-12-24
But it doesn't seem to work. It's just gets your RISC OS box blocked from
making Google searches and you can't click on the message response
proving you're a human. Using their own example. Duh.
