I would guess some build requirement has not been met but the quoted
last bit of the log file is too short to confirm. Any chance to mail
me the zipped version of the full log file ?
John.

You can apply such local patches by placing them in the approriate
subdirectory under recipe/patches. On the other hand, this fix is
generaly useful as more and more people will start using gcc4.9 to build
GCCSDK so I've applied a copy of that patch as r6782.
If you remove buildstepsdir/src-ppl-copied you can restart your build
without a 'make clean'. The ppl sources will be unpacked again, this
patch will be applied and you no longer should have this problem (assuming
this patch is sufficient for ppl + gcc4.9).
Thanks,
John.

Etc, etc...
Unfortunately none of all that helps with my RPCEmu networking query,
which happened again five minutes ago.
?

Interesting.
I had the original card from ROOL. It corrupted cpmpletely. They replaced
the card. Maybe that was a little better. So I got the board replaced. No
significant difference.
I have also tried doubling up power supplies. No detectable difference.
Often using DiscKnight to check a reported error - no fault is found. If
one is found, DK can repair it. It feels like a timing error.
So maybe the µSD cards ROoL supply are not fast enough...

Yes, just noticed the new RC14 release. I have ordered a class 10 SD card
(same speed as your link) - a lot faster that the class 4 that ROOL say is
needed. We will see!

I have used several R-Pi computers (B 256MB, B 512MB and B+ 512MB)
since they first came out and I have not once had a single disc fault
or corruption with any of them. I have always used Integral SD cards
if that has anything to do with it. An SD card like this:
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Integral-UltimaPro-16GB-Class-Memory/dp/B0062CEL6O
I have had an occasional key on the keyboard not work - but that
is supposed to be cured with the latest RC14 version of RISC OS for
the R-Pi.

The Pi2B now has 1GiB RAM and four ARM cores, though RISC OS still only
uses one of course.

RC14 has been recently released to support the Pi2B as well as all the
other Pi models. Previous was RC12. Amongst the many fixes is using
fast interrupts to handle USB to cure that erratic keyboard/mouse
handling.

My Iyonix failed. I bought a B+.
While I agree there are problems on the R-Pi and it's no match for a
'proper' computer, networking is one thing that does work properly on the
R-Pi.
The problems are with erratic keybord/mouase handling, and frequent disk
faults reported when accessing its µSD card.
